I N T R O D U C T I O N
At grparallye.com the aim is to develop the most comprehensive and accurate website that is dedicated solely to the Toyota Celica Grp A Rallye, a car that derived from the Carlos Sainz ST185 rally vehicle. The Grp A Rallye was only delivered to Australia in 1991, sold just below $46,000 when new and it was badged individually as a limited production of 150. It is a turbo Celica that many forget was ever produced. The Grp A Rallye can be distinguished by its predominant bonnet vent complimented with a timing belt air duct, alternate front bumper to allow more effective air flow under the bonnet and also from the Grp A Rallye decals in front of the rear wheel guards and above the tail lights. Inside the vehicle there is a unique plaque mounted above the shift knob and another gold plate engraved with the names of the original owners beside the compliance plate under the bonnet.
Grparallye.com is founded by Celica enthusiasts, created and maintained by Nick Rainbird (aka. Rainey) who is responsible for the website design and content. A large portion of the resources on the site have been collected from endless scouring of the world wide web, many of it's origins are no longer known. If you think that you have any further information on anything, whether it be VIN's, advertisements or additional photographs, or you have a problem with any of the images being used here, please don't hesitate to let us know and we will do our best to resolve the issue and/or amend our records. The site is here for your information and enjoyment.

The most important goal of this website is to track down as many of the original 150 Australian delivered Grp A Rallye Celica's and record their existence in the chart on the 'Tracking' page, along with as much information as the respective owners are comfortable with being available to the public. Things such as original Colour, VIN and Original Owner as well as a gallery of photographs is the ideal outcome for each vehicle. If we put our heads together, along with the help of the community this site should grow into a complete database that even Toyota themselves should be proud of.

Below we would like to appreciate and recognise the people that have contributed to making this website what it is today:
